Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Field Engineer in Austin, Texas, to provide on-site construction observation and coordination support on complex projects with a focus on data centers. This role represents the owner's interests in the field, works closely with contractors and design engineers, and helps keep projects aligned with contract documents, quality, and schedule.

Required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Science) and a PE license, with 2+ years of field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• 2+ years of experience in field/related trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site presence to represent the owner's interest during construction.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders; document meetings.
• Write daily reports on construction status and schedule delays.
