Job summary

Flowtec Construction is seeking an Owners Rep/Development Manager for its Loop-based projects in Chicago. You will bridge construction and development, overseeing the GC and delivery while gaining exposure to acquisitions, design, entitlements, financing, leasing and the broader development lifecycle.

The role represents ownership from planning through turnover and stabilization, with significant influence on major project decisions and long-term portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Strong project management experience in commercial construction.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience overseeing multifamily, mixed-use or hospitality developments.
• Ability to review budgets, schedules, and contracts with a critical eye.

Responsibilities

• Manage multifamily, mixed-use and hospitality developments from predevelopment through stabilization.
• Represent the owner throughout design, preconstruction and construction.
• Oversee general contractors, architects, engineers, and other project partners.
• Review conceptual budgets, estimates, GMPs, schedules and procurement strategies.
• Evaluate design documents for constructability and value engineering.
