Job summary

Flowtec Construction seeks a Project Executive to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects in Chicago, overseeing owners, design teams, contractors, and internal staff. You will influence preconstruction through closeout, drive client relations, project strategy, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction or design-build, with strong leadership and communication skills and experience with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, design-build, or related AEC environment.
• Experience leading complex, high-value projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project strategy, execution, schedule, budget, and financial performance.
• Serve as primary contact for owners and key project stakeholders.
• Lead coordination between architecture, engineering, construction, and project management teams.
• Provide oversight of preconstruction, estimating, procurement, scheduling, and construction activities.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and design partners.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and teams.
• Monitor project quality, safety, schedule, and financial performance.
• Assist with business development and identifying opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
