Job summary

ERM is hiring a Lead Environmental Compliance Manager (Owner's Advisor) to guide environmental compliance on hyperscale data center projects across Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia. You will translate permit conditions into practical construction practices and lead owner-side efforts.

You'll partner with project managers, GC and subcontractors, and the EHS team to manage risk, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive corrective actions with strong field presence and clear, metric-based reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in environmental roles on large construction or capital projects.
• Owner-side environmental leadership experience.
• Knowledge of stormwater, spill prevention, waste, and air/dust controls.
• Extensive hyperscale data center construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner-side environmental compliance leadership across the project, ensuring alignment with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Establish and maintain a project-specific environmental compliance framework guiding CM and contractor execution.
• Maintain field presence to validate environmental controls and permit obligations.
• Perform quality checks of contractor/environmental inspections and documentation.
