ERM is seeking a Lead Environmental Compliance Manager (Owner's Advisor) to act as the owner’s environmental representative for hyperscale data center construction across Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and beyond. You will translate permit conditions into practical field practices, partnering with PMs, GCs, subcontractors, and the EHS team to manage risks and raise environmental performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of environmental experience, including significant experience supporting large construction or capital projects.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as an owner-side environmental leader with field verification and programmatic oversight.
• Strong working knowledge of construction-phase environmental compliance domains (stormwater, spill prevention, waste management, air and dust controls).
• Extensive hyperscale data center construction experience preferred; large-scale industrial construction acceptable.
• Experience translating environmental requirements into practical execution through others.
• Ability to travel extensively based on project location demands.

Responsabilidades

• Provide owner-side environmental compliance leadership across the project, ensuring alignment with local, state, and federal requirements and client expectations.
• Establish a project-specific environmental compliance framework to guide CM and contractor execution.
• Maintain field presence to validate environmental controls align with plans and permit obligations.
• Perform quality checks of contractor environmental inspections and documentation.
• Coach CM and contractor teams on findings and risks, driving timely corrective actions.
• Identify and prioritize environmental risks, recommending mitigation strategies.
• Support development and improvement of project environmental plans and procedures.
• Partner with client environmental SMEs to ensure activities align with permit conditions and reporting expectations.
• Develop and communicate environmental performance metrics and risks to leadership.
• Participate in investigations of incidents and spills, ensuring containment and root-cause analysis.
