Job summary

ERM is seeking a Lead Environmental Compliance Manager (Owner's Advisor) to oversee environmental compliance for hyperscale data center construction across multiple states. This role requires translating permit conditions into practical field execution and partnering with EHS teams, PMs, and contractors.

The position emphasizes on-site leadership, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of environmental plans, with travel as needed and a one-year, full-time term.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead owner-side environmental programs on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater, spill prevention, waste management, air and dust controls.
• Experience translating permit conditions into field execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner-side environmental compliance leadership across projects and align with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Establish and maintain an environmental compliance framework for CM and contractors.
• Coach project teams on findings and mitigate risks with timely actions.
• Track and report environmental performance metrics to leadership.
• Travel extensively as project demands require.
