Job summary

ERM is seeking a Lead Environmental Compliance Manager (Owner's Advisor) to oversee owner-side environmental compliance for hyperscale data center construction across multiple states, including Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia. This 40+ hour per week, one-year assignment requires translating permit conditions into practical construction practices and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years environmental experience on large projects.
• Owner-side environmental leadership experience.
• Knowledge of stormwater, spill prevention, waste management, air controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner-side environmental compliance leadership across the project.
• Establish a project-specific environmental compliance framework.
• Maintain field presence to validate controls and permit obligations.
• Coach CM and contractor teams on findings and remediation actions.
• Identify environmental risks and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and improve environmental plans and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with permit conditions and reporting expectations.
