Job summary

ERM is seeking a Lead Environmental Compliance Manager (Owner's Advisor) to oversee environmental compliance for hyperscale data center construction across multiple states, including Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia.

This full-time, 1-year assignment requires a strong owner-side leadership presence, expert regulatory knowledge, and the ability to translate permit conditions into practical field actions, partnering with EHS, PMs, GC and contractors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of environmental experience on large construction or capital projects.
• Experience leading environmental programs on owner-side projects.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater, spill prevention, waste, air and dust controls.
• Ability to translate environmental requirements into practical field actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner-side environmental leadership across projects, ensuring regulatory alignment.
• Establish a project-specific environmental compliance framework.
• Maintain field presence to verify controls meet permit obligations.
• Coach teams on findings and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and track environmental performance metrics for leadership.
• Coordinate with waste vendors and site teams for compliant handling.
• Travel extensively as project demands require.
