Job summary

CMTS LLC seeks an experienced Owners Authorized Representative (OAR II) to manage large-scale capital programs in Los Angeles. You will oversee pre-construction through closeout, ensure schedule and budget compliance, and coordinate with public agencies and District staff.

A CCM or significant PM experience is highly valued. Ideal candidates have fifteen years in construction/PM, five+ years on complex projects above $20M, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of full-time professional experience in construction or PM.
• Five+ years managing complex projects over $20M.
• Experience with commercial, public works, or educational facility construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all phases of assigned construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Review pre-construction documents and provide comments to design teams.
• Prepare reports for senior management regarding project status and progress.
• Coordinate with public agencies and District staff to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage project budgets and schedules ensuring alignment with District standards.
• Oversee contractor activities, schedules, and submittals.
• Coordinate responses to RFCs and related documents.
• Review substitution submittals for compliance with specifications.
• Evaluate and negotiate contractor change order proposals.
• Analyze schedule impacts and ensure timely resolution.
