You will operate with late-model equipment, meeting Altom’s inspection standards, and you will be supported by programs including revenue sharing and fuel discounts to maximize earnings. 24/7 availability may be required in this driver-centric role.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Tanker Endorsement (N) required.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred; within 90 days.
• TWIC Card preferred or to be obtained after hire.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tanker driving experience.
• Minimum 23 years old.
• Clean MVR and safety record.
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Safe transportation of chemicals and petroleum by tank trailers.
• Equipment maintenance and inspection readiness.
• Loading and unloading at loading and delivery points.
• Maintain logs and comply with Hazmat regulations.
• Represent Altom Transport professionally at customer locations.
• Manage fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
• Meet mileage or hour requirements to sustain operation.
• Be available for 24/7 operations when needed.
