Job summary

Altom Transport is seeking an Owner Operator Driver to join a family‑owned company with strategic terminals across the U.S. and Canada. You will operate tank trailers hauling chemical and petroleum products, while acting as a business owner within our operation.

Responsibilities include safe transportation, equipment maintenance, loading/unloading, and accurate documentation. The role requires CDL A, tanker endorsement, Hazmat preferred, and willingness to work flexible hours including 24/7

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required and tanker experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred or obtainable within 90 days.
• TWIC card preferred or obtainable after hire.

Responsibilities

• Hauling chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while DOT compliant.
• Maintain truck and meet inspection standards for long-haul operations.
• Load/unload at points following ISO/Flexi-Bag or tanker protocols.
• Keep accurate logs and comply with Hazmat regulations.

Education

Valid CDL Class A License

Hazmat Endorsement (H) - Preferred

Tanker Endorsement (N) - Required

TWIC Card - Preferred

Clean MVR and strong safety record
