Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join a safety‑conscious team. The route runs from Braintree, MA to El Dorado, AR and averages 2,800–3,000+ miles per week with a target of $200K–$250K per year.

Responsibilities include operating tractor trailer units, loading/unloading, securing loads, maintaining logs, and ensuring DOT compliance. Weekly home time is provided, with a compensation package reflecting on‑duty time and mileage pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL and HazMat/Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software for logs and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the top priority and adheres to safe work practices.
• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Secures loads and handles loading/unloading of hazardous/non‑hazardous waste.
• Places appropriate placards per DOT requirements.
• Maintains logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Braintree, MA! This route runs from Braintree, MA to El Dorado, AR and averages 2800-3000+ miles per week.

• Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
