Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their team in Cranston, RI. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 per year, depending on experience and other factors. The position requires a commitment to Health and Safety practices.

Responsibilities include operating tractor trailer units, loading and unloading hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and maintaining daily logs. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, and at least 12 months of Class A driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required.
• At least 12 months of experience driving Class A vehicles.
• Ability to effectively use required technology, including mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety practices are a priority at all times.
• Operate tractor trailer units safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and reports.
• Load and unload hazardous/non-hazardous waste correctly.

Job description

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Cranston, RI. This route runs from Cranston, RI > El Dorado, AR and averages 2800-3000 miles per week. This route can also be domiciled from Braintree, MA/ Bristol, CT/ or Linden , NJ. Must be willing to stay out 2-3 weeks at a time.

About The Role

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
