Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety-conscious team in Linden, NJ or Bridgeport, NJ. This flex position covers the northeast and select southern states, with weekly average miles around 2600 and bi-weekly home time.

Compensation includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage, non-asset hourly rates, and mileage pay. Clean Harbors prioritizes health and safety and provides a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software for dispatch.
• OTR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Weekly average mile 2600 .Minimum 2 weeks out

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay
