Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join the safety-first team in El Dorado, AR. This flex position can hire from East TX, LA, AR, MS, East TN, NC and pays per mile as well as hourly for on-duty time.

Average earnings are quoted at $200K–$250K per year with 2,500–3,000 miles driven weekly and home time. The role requires a Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and at least 12 months of experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units and adheres to DOT requirements.

Job description

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in El Dorado, AR. This will be a "Flex" position to east coast. Can hire from East TX, LA, AR, MS, East TN, NC.

2500-3000 miles $0.55-0.57 cpm, $27-29 per hour. Does not have to stay out 2 weeks. Can work out what works best with applicant.

About the role

• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
