Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their team in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on ensuring safety while transporting loads across various locations in the Eastern US, averaging 2800-3000+ miles weekly.

The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, as well as at least 12 months of driving experience. Competitive compensation includes hourly demurrage rates and mileage pay.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is mandatory.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Minimum 12 months of driving experience is essential.
• Ability to effectively use required technology is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety compliance at all times.
• Operate tractor trailer units efficiently.
• Maintain daily logs and vehicle inspection reports.
• Properly load and secure hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

About the role

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in St. Louis, MO. This route runs from St. Louis, MO to various locations throughout the Eastern US and averages 2800-3000+ miles per week.

Compensation

• Average $200-250K per year
• Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications
