Job summary

Dinges Fire Company seeks motivated sales professionals to plan and carry out sales activities on assigned accounts or areas, building relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers in designated territory. Our team emphasizes a 'Help First' approach to make departments’ jobs easier, safer, and more comfortable.

All salespersons are 1099 independent contractors with commissions based on gross profit; earn approx. 40% per sale.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment
• Knowledge of basic computer applications
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Knowledge of basic business principles

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies
• Schedule sales activity
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers
• Develop and present company products and services to clients
• Negotiate sales terms
• Develop sales proposals
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email or in person
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain client relationships
• Follow up on sales activity
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow ups for management
• Participate in sales events and training
