Job summary

Encon Heating & AC, a trusted Connecticut HVAC name since 1969, is expanding its business development team in Danbury. You will own a market, meeting decision-makers, building a portfolio of accounts, and driving revenue through a mix of base salary and commissions.

No HVAC experience needed—we teach the technical side and you bring drive and people skills. You’ll spend one day a week in the office and the rest in the field across Greater Danbury and Western Connecticut, targeting industries

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across territory.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Encon is a drug-free workplace and requires post-offer pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Build a target list of 500-800 commercial properties in your assigned industry.
• Open doors through multiple channels and earn meetings with decision-makers.
• Learn each building's challenges and design a maintenance program for customers.
• Close the agreement and hand it to operations for execution, then pursue the next opportunity.
• Develop industry-specific expertise and a professional network within Healthcare, Education, CRE, Manufacturing, Data Centers, Pharma/Biotech, Food & Beverage, Hotels, and Government facilities.
