Job summary

BL Harbert International seeks a Project Controls Engineer to support overseas project teams across multiple locations. The role focuses on refining the project execution schedule and monitoring the critical path, coordinating with project managers, superintendents, and suppliers.

Responsibilities include preparing schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, progress tracking, and evaluating time impacts from changes.

Qualifications

• Experience and training in scheduling and planning construction projects.
• Experience with Department of Defense or Department of State projects (preferred).
• Experience on USACE or OBO projects overseas (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedule updates and reports required by the contract.
• Prepare short-term look-ahead schedules for field use.
• Record and report progress and forecast completion.
• Evaluate potential time impacts from change orders or field conditions.
• Maintain procurement log to plan material procurement.
• Assist PM and PE to analyze cost and time issues related to RFPs.
