Job summary

RMGS, Inc. is seeking Independent Contractors to serve as Border Security Trainers in various OCONUS locations.

The roles are contingent upon contract award and involve delivering training, mentoring local officers, and participating in international engagements with EXBS partners. Ideal candidates have extensive border security field experience, a proven track record of overseas training, and the ability to operate in austere environments while maintaining high professional and ethical

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in US border security activities.
• 5+ years developing and delivering training.
• 2+ years training foreign officers.
• Record of delivering training overseas.
• Able to operate in austere training environments.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Accredited to deliver WCO training (COPES/STCE).
• Knowledge of program-level correspondence development.
• Knowledge in program assessment, risk management, metrics, and project execution.
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to perform without Government assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative services to EXBS partner governments, including bilateral consultations and embedded mentorship.
• Plan, prepare for, and deliver courses to customs and border security officers.
• Mentor officials in border security best practices including targeting, inspection, detection, and investigations.
• Assess partner capabilities and recommend enhancements.
• Evaluate training curricula and suggest improvements.
• Participate in preparatory meetings with ISN/ECC.
• Travel to EXBS partner countries to accomplish activities.
• Maintain integrity and respect host government traditions and customs.
• Draft comprehensive after-action reports following travel.
