Job summary

NFI Massachusetts Inc. in Beverly, MA is seeking an Awake Overnight Shift Supervisor for its residential youth program. The role provides direct care, life skills training, and supervision during a 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am, with an hourly rate of $25.50.

This full-time position requires strong leadership and a commitment to safeguarding youth in out-of-home care. Responsibilities include supervising Overnight Youth Counselors, ensuring safety, maintaining wakefulness, conducting bed

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• At least one year of residential counselor experience working with a similar population.
• High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with adolescent population preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid US drivers' license.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of Overnight Youth Counselors
• Supervising and maintaining direct care and the safety of the youth
• Remaining awake throughout the entire shift
• Conducting routine bed checks
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment
• Crisis intervention if needed
• Administrative oversight of daily tasks and procedures
• Provide ongoing support, guidance and role modeling for staff and clients
