Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations at our Alabama Mobile stores.

You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage daily freight schedules to meet customer and inventory needs. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center, strong communication, teamwork, and proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safety programs and training to meet OSHA and company standards.
• Handle employee inquiries and support a positive labor climate in warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve efficiency and throughput.
• Produce activity reports for management and resolve discrepancies in shipping documents.
