Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will manage daily freight schedules to meet customer and inventory needs.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of supervisory experience in warehousing, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based systems. The role requires flexibility to extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills and Windows-based systems proficiency.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping/receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, handling receiving errors and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment use and OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Manage progressive disciplinary processes to maintain productivity.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize operations.
• Complete activity reports for management.
• Monitor flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Oversee product staging for counting/inspection and proper storage to conserve space.
• Supervise inventory rotation; perform other duties as directed.
