Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse or distribution
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to collaborate with other departments effectively
• Clear oral and written communication skills
• Competent in basic math calculations
• Strong computer skills in Windows-based systems
• Able to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines
• Available for extended hours during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance and inventory control
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receive errors and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs
• Ensure warehouse safety programs comply with OSHA regulations
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures
• Manage progressive disciplinary process and labor relations
• Handle employee inquiries and problem-solving
• Coordinate with other departments to improve efficiency
• Prepare Activity Reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips and receiver reports
• Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Store products properly to conserve space and ensure safety
• Oversee inventory rotation
• Perform other duties as directed by management
