Job summary

Grainger is hiring for a Distribution Center Associate in Minooka, IL. The role requires standing for long periods, night shifts, and lifting up to 75 pounds.

You will perform inbound/outbound warehouse tasks, use scanning equipment, and ensure accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a safe, organized work area. Starting pay is $21.75 per hour with raises up to $22.95 in 12 months, plus PIE and overnight shift premiums.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willing to work nights and stand for long periods.
• Able to operate warehouse vehicles and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound/outbound warehouse tasks including unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing.
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to meet customer expectations for quality and delivery speed.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, attendance and overtime requirements.
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment in accordance with OSHA.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.
