Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site rules.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of transit facilities and surrounding areas to identify hazards or suspicious activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies and assist as directed by supervisors.
• Monitor access points and public areas to deter unlawful activity and maintain a professional presence.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports following site procedures.
