Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Santa Clara, CA. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access control, and provide professional service to employees and visitors at a technology site.

This role offers a flexible schedule with overnight shifts and an opportunity to use Allied Universal's Claim a Shift platform to build a suitable work calendar. Payment is $24.84 per hour for part-time hours.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Guard card or license, preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a technology location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credentialing processes to maintain controlled entry to critical areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and coordinating with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior/exterior spaces, document observations, and report security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity, incident, and shift handoff reports per requirements.
