LAZ Parking in Myrtle Beach, SC, USA seeks an Overnight Supervisor License Plate Inventory Clerk to support our parking operations and customer service during the overnight shift.

The role requires supervisor experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate a vehicle to capture license plates. This part-time shift runs 12am–6am with compensation of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a vehicle to capture and log all plates of vehicles in the assigned lot.
• Use handheld device walking parking lots/decks to record plates or VINs of vehicles.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and secure at all times.
• Provide a detailed explanation and/or log when equipment malfunctions occur.
• Follow all procedures outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual.
• Assist Supervisors to implement and complete other inventory-related projects.
• Other related duties as assigned.

The Spirit of the Position:

TheLicense Plate Inventory (LPI) Clerkcaptures the license plates of all vehicles parked at the airport on a given day. This allows for the parking operation to monitor abandoned vehicles as well as provide customer assistance when requested.

Principal Job Duties:

• Operate anddrive a vehiclearound the lotsto capture and log all plates of vehicles in your assigned lot.
• Use a handheld device walking parking lots/decksto record plates or VINs of vehicles that cannot be capture by vehicle.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and that keys, cameras, handhelds, radios, and other items are secure at all times.
• Provide a detailed explanation and/or log when equipment malfunctions occur.
• Follow all procedures outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual.
• Assist the Supervisors to implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise in areas related to inventory and/or recognition.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Parking industry experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.

• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
