Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers by name and resolve inquiries promptly with a courteous, helpful attitude.
• Ensure garages and surface lots are cleaned and maintained daily.
• Perform general maintenance tasks like sweeping, cleaning, trash removal, and light bulb changes.
• Monitor the lot to ensure safety and smooth entry/exit for customers.
• Complete paperwork and reports accurately to account for parking revenues.
• Assist customers in lobbies and parking areas; direct traffic as needed.
• Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor and proactive service.
• Process monthly and debit payments and credit cards.
• Follow supervisor directions and work with or without supervision.

The Details:

• Position: Porter


• Location: Las Vegas, NV


• Schedule: Part Time / schedule can range Mon - Sun between 6a - 2p / 2p - 10p


• Hourly: $18.00/hr

The Spirit of the Position:

A LAZ Parking Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients & customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance.

Responsibilities:

• Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base


• Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.


• Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots - sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, painting etc.


• Monitor the parking lot, secure the premises, and ensure customers can enter and exit safely, securely, and efficiently.


• Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and efficiently to account for any and all collected parking revenues.


• Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office; help direct traffic.


• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.


• Accept monthly and debit payments and process credit cards.


• Be in correct LAZ Parking uniform, on time, and ready to work when scheduled.


• Work with and without supervision and follow directions of supervisors when requests are made.


• Inform all people loitering to move off property or call non-emergency number for police support.


• Make sure the location is safe and take care of any potential hazardous conditions


• Other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Experience working in a customer service environment is required.


• Experience with general facility maintenance preferred.


• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.


• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time (95-100% of shift) - no sitting is allowed.


• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
