Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Leader in Sidney, OH to drive exceptional customer service and team performance while managing store operations and financials. You will lead, coach and develop associates, ensuring strong merchandise presentation and adherence to company standards.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cost control, and continuous improvement to meet sales goals and deliver a high-quality customer experience. Primary location is 2400 Michigan St, Sidney, OH.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, acknowledge that the position may require a firearms-specific CBC and training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, and providing feedback.
• Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and setting clear expectations.
• Coordinates activities by building relationships with key stakeholders and aligning plans with customer and business needs.
