Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Warsaw, IN is seeking an Overnight Stocking Manager to lead in-store operations overnight, drive staffing, training and performance across the area. You will manage budget items, safety, and process improvements to maximize efficiency and customer service.

As a senior retail leader, you will develop talent, guide Leads and Team Members, analyze financials for decision making, and foster an inclusive environment while upholding Meijer's standards and community focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members with clear directions.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information for informed decisions.
• Lead an organization that practices safe operations.
• Seasonal and diverse merchandising understanding.
• Strong business acumen and innovative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing and leadership development.
• Ensures Meijer standards are upheld and opportunities for growth exist.
• Oversees area operations and financial results to maximize sales and productivity, owning budget items in the P&L.
• Drives safety, compliance, and store condition management.
• Leads Leads and Team Leaders in assigning daily work and training needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
