Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocking Manager (Area Leader) in Michigan to lead team members across an area, ensuring effective onboarding, training and coaching.

You will be accountable for area operations and financial results, driving safety and compliance while managing staffing and productivity to maximize sales. You will guide Leads and Team Leaders, shape talent pipelines, and engage in strategic discussions to uphold Meijer standards and grow the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decision making.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Commitment to safety and compliance in the store.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members to ensure onboarding and development.
• Lead and direct Team Leaders and Leads in daily operations.
• Oversee area operations and financial results to maximize sales and productivity.
• Drive safety, compliance, and store condition management.
• Identify process improvements and manage staffing and scheduling needs.
