Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Overnight Stocking Manager to oversee operations across South Haven, Benton Harbor, Stevensville and nearby stores. You will lead Leads and Team Leaders, focus on onboarding, coaching, safety, and budget management, and ensure strong customer service and daily performance.

The role emphasizes talent identification, career development, and driving improvements to maximize sales and productivity while upholding Meijer's culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with team members clearly and provide direction.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decision making.
• Commitment to safe working practices and continuous improvement.
• Seasonal merchandising understanding to meet community needs and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement and onboarding within the span of care, providing coaching and feedback for success.
• Identify talent and support staffing and leadership development.
• Conduct candid discussions to ensure adherence to Meijer standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversee area operations and financial performance, manage budget line items in P&L, and drive productivity.
• Ensure safety and compliance, manage store conditions, and coordinate scheduling and staffing needs.
• Guide Team Leaders and Leads in daily tasks and training needs; implement process improvements.
