Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocking Manager for its West Grand Rapids stores. You will lead the backroom stocking team, manage onboarding, coaching, and staffing, and drive budgets and safety standards to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4+ years in retail or customer service, and strong leadership and financial analysis skills. You will oversee staffing, training, and performance while maintaining Meijer’s inclusive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
Progressive leadership experience preferred.
Ability to analyze financial and statistical information and make decisions.
Commitment to safety and Meijer standards.

Responsibilities

Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training, coaching, and feedback.
Identify talent and support staffing and leadership development.
Hold candid discussions to ensure standards and growth opportunities.
Manage area operations and financial results, including budget and P&L.
Drive safety, compliance, and store condition management.
Guide Leads and Team Leaders in daily assignments and training needs.
