Job summary

Tufts Medicine Melrose/Wakefield Hospital is seeking a Sleep Tech/Polysomnographer for full-time overnight shifts (7pm–7am) at the Melrose campus. You will perform in-center and home sleep testing, score studies, and educate patients under medical supervision, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a sleep technology program, and RPSGT or eligible for RPSGT/RST, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a sleep technology program.
• RPSGT or eligible for RPSGT/RST or Certified Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two years of experience in a sleep lab.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-center and home sleep testing under supervision.
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events per AASM guidelines.
• Prepare accurate reports and ensure data quality and patient safety.
• Explain procedures and educate patients for testing options.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to infection control procedures.
