Job summary

Melrose/Wakefield Hospital is seeking a Sleep Technologist to evaluate and treat sleep disorders, conduct in-center and home sleep testing, and document results with precision. You will operate complex polysomnography equipment, educate patients, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires a sleep technology program, an RPSGT or eligibility, and a BLS certification. Full-time overnight shifts are available, with a focus on high-quality patient care and accurate data

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a sleep technology program.
• RPSGT or eligible for RPSGT/RST or Certified Polysomnographic Technologist.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes and integrates patient information to identify needs.
• Determines testing parameters with the physician and center protocols.
• Reviews patient history and verifies medical orders.
• Follows sleep center protocols for studies and testing.
• Scores sleep stages and events using AASM standards.
