Job summary

Melrose/Wakefield Hospital is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform evaluations and treatments of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing, under medical supervision. You will operate advanced sleep equipment, ensure patient safety, and provide education for continued care.

Hours are 7pm–7am on Thursday through Sunday. The role requires a Sleep Technology program completion and relevant certifications; BLS, and eligibility for RPSGT/RST are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a sleep technology program required.
• RPSGT, or eligible for RPSGT/RST, or Certified Polysomnographic Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat sleep disorders using center and home sleep testing.
• Set up and calibrate polysomnography equipment per protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent for studies.
• Monitor and document patients during sleep studies and ensure data quality.
