Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor to lead overnight production. You will supervise a team of about 25, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.

You will address operational issues, communicate updates to management and other shifts, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a positive, accountable work environment. This is a Monday–Friday night shift role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor or Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a production team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety, and quality standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently during an overnight shift.
• Willingness to work a Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities during the 3rd shift and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to established standards.
• Lead and support a team of approximately 25 employees.
• Provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Address operational issues and elevate concerns when necessary.
• Monitor production activities to ensure quality, productivity, and schedule requirements are met.
• Coordinate workflow and staffing to maintain effective shift coverage.
• Ensure procedures, safety requirements, and company standards are consistently followed.
• Communicate important production updates and issues to other shifts and management.
• Maintain a positive and accountable work environment.
• Support employee development, training, and performance management.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement across the shift.
