Express Employment Professionals in Minnesota (Cottage Grove) seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee approximately twenty employees on the third shift, from midnight to 8:00 am, ensuring safe, high-quality board production, meeting delivery commitments, and minimizing waste. Qualifications

• Candidates with a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to five years manufacturing supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that employees are 100% compliant in safety campaign requirements.
• Lead by walking around. 90% shop floor presence is expected.
• Oversee production and take corrective action to ensure that customer delivery commitments are kept on time.
• Performance management – get the right people in the right job and hold them accountable.
• Move on your non-performers.
• Maintain inventories of roll stock and corrugator supplies. Alert ordering clerk in a timely manner as to procure raw materials and supplies in the most cost-effective manner.
• Conduct weekly documented crew meetings with departmental personnel to cover, at a minimum, safety, waste, quality and productivity.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
