Job summary

Wonder seeks a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations and ensure top-quality food and service. You’ll lead a team during evening to early-morning shifts, with the overnight hours receiving a $2.00/hr premium.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of supervision in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must have availability to work evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant team in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure high-quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure stock and ordering assistance.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and is in good working order.
• Conduct briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met.
• Present a professional and ethical leadership style.
• Participate in training and development for restaurant employees.
