Job summary

Centerboard is seeking a full-time Program Site Staff in Beverly, MA to provide on-site assistance to program residents in the Scattered Sites Program. The role focuses on safety, security, and adherence to program guidelines during afternoon/evening shifts, including a Sunday double shift and weekday evenings.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with about two years’ experience in housing services or related fields.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED or some college.
• Two years’ experience in housing services, residential programs, or public contact.
• Candidate must possess strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of common areas.
• Maintain alertness and avoid signs of sleep during shifts.
• Complete building rounds every two hours.
• Prepare shift and incident reports.
• Report maintenance issues and call for emergency maintenance as needed.
• Assist new families with placement.
• Keep common areas and hallways free of personal belongings.
• Manage keys securely in locked boxes.
• Enforce visiting guidelines.
• Mediate tenant concerns during shifts.
• Monitor security system and report issues.
• Use email, phone, and written communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Clean units after families exit shelter.
• Assess after-hours maintenance issues and coordinate with maintenance crew.
• Double-count cash in the laundry lockbox and report discrepancies.
