Job summary

Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) seeks a dedicated professional to oversee a shelter residence, conduct intakes, and maintain a safe, trauma-informed environment for residents. This Full-Time role requires strong collaboration with staff and community partners.

Under supervision, you will coordinate with providers, keep accurate records, respond to crises, and support clients and volunteers while upholding the agency's mission of helping those in need.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Human Services or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Two years of experience in the human services field, crisis intervention, residential setting, or emergency services.
• Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operation of the residence.
• Conducts intakes for individuals entering the residence.
• Provides crisis intervention and conflict management to residents.
• Maintains record-keeping responsibilities including client census and database system.
• Ensures safety and security of the premises.
