Job summary

The Richmond - Staten Island site in New York is seeking a Residential Aide to ensure client safety, provide direct care services and maintain building safety during the overnight shift. Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma and a food handlers license.
• Experience with the homeless population is a plus.
• Ability to establish workload priorities and communicate clearly with individuals and groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee all families in the family shelter.
• Ensure safety and security of all families in the shelter.
• Work with case management staff to meet family needs.
• Assist families in developing ADL skills and housekeeping.
• Complete unit inspections and documentation.
• Prepare kitchen area, warm up and serve meals as needed.
• Remove trash and document food discarded.
• Complete temperature logs for refrigerators.
• Monitor adherence to program and hotel rules.
• Respond to family health and mental health needs.
• Conduct wellness checks.
