Project Hospitality is seeking a Residential Aide at The Richmond in Staten Island, NY. The role focuses on client safety, direct care, and maintaining building safety during daytime shifts within the family shelter.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a food handlers license. Experience with homeless populations is a plus, and applicants must have strong written and verbal communication skills to handle sensitive issues. Physical ability to perform duties is essential.

Mansioni

• Monitors, screens, and oversees all families assigned to the family shelter.
• Responsible for safety and security of all families assigned to the family shelter.
• Works closely with the case management staff to meet the needs of the families.
• Assists families in developing their ADL skills, housekeeping as needed.
• Complete unit inspections and documentation.
• Clean, sanitize and prepare kitchen area for residents.
• Warm up food for residents and serve meals as needed.
• Remove trash and document food discarded.
• Complete temperature log for refrigerators.
• Monitor families for adherence to program and hotel rules.
• Responds to family health and mental health needs as needed.
• Complete wellness checks
