Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience as a resident assistant in a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, web-based platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs including grooming, hygiene, dressing, and nutrition.
• Respond to signal lights and intercoms promptly to determine residents’ needs.
• Take vital signs as directed and monitor food and fluid intake.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning; help with dining and activities.
• Support laundry, housekeeping, and errands; help with meals when needed.
• Encourage resident participation in activities; monitor well-being and report concerns.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families and care team; follow advance directives.
• Collaborate with staff; participate in teamwork and conflict resolution as needed.
