Position Overview

The Overnight Security Supervisor at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center will be responsible for assisting and overseeing the Security operations of the hotel. Security is responsible for the security and safety of the hotel, guests, employees, visitors and vendors; and for providing exceptional service for our guests. The Security team has the opportunity to interact with our guests and associates by assisting them with questions, directions, incident reports, problems and in emergency situations. Other duties include issuing visitor badges, radios, and keys, maintaining accurate logs, filling out incident reports, and completing building patrols.

The responsibilities of this position include and are not limited to scheduling, ordering, training, working shifts as needed, follow up to guests’ issues, responding to emergency situations to ensure the safety and security of associates, hotel guests, visitors and property.

This is a Full-Time position. This position requires open schedule availability, must be able to work weekends and holidays. Shifts will be 11pm - 7:30am. Schedules are based upon business need.

Requirements

• Previous security experience is required
• Requires the ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations
• Excellent communication skills are required; as well as strong computer proficiency
• Requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must have great attitude
• Must be capable of addressing the performance of the security department
• Must have the ability to coach and mentor officers/associates
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Ability to lift a moderate to heavy amount of weight
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• 1-3 years of security experience preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Compensation

The rate for this position is $24.00 an hour, plus an additional $1.00 shift differential for overnight shifts.
