Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to oversee the night shift at a Transitional Shelter in the Jamaica section of Queens. You will supervise security officers, act as liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager and field staff, and ensure delivery of quality services on the shift.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to prepare reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the public and staff.
• Ability to prepare clear written reports and logs.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug test required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record if driving is required.
• Ability to work in varied environments and handle crisis calmly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security staff on the assigned shift and coordinate service delivery.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager and field personnel.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within policy.
• Prepare written reports and logs in a timely, legible manner.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and professionally at the client site.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and professionalism during shifts.
