Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Lead in Nashville, TN for a full-time overnight role. We’re looking for an experienced and dependable security professional who is ready to take on additional responsibility while providing excellent service.

Starting Pay: $19.77 / Hour. Overnight Shift – 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Current and valid driver’s license required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in any discipline preferred; military or police service acceptable.
• Minimum one year verifiable security experience required.
• Two years verifiable work experience with customer service, poise under pressure, report writing, and ability to follow written/verbal orders.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their duties
• Cross-training officers to make them more versatile and run site efficiently
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
• Make recommendations for personnel actions for those under direct supervision
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for security officers on shift
• Ensure all required training and screening elements are met
• Maintain overtime to minimum as designated by Allied Universal
• Inspect security personnel and performance to ensure contract compliance
• Assist in payroll, incident reports, and security surveys/post orders
