Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Security Supervisor to oversee the delivery of services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The role acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers, supervising staff with coaching, recognition, and discipline within empowerment guidelines.

Starting pay is $22.39 per hour for full-time overnight hours Tuesday through Saturday, 10pm–6am.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driving Positions require a valid Driver’s License with driving experience and clean record.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on the assigned shift and coordinate delivery of services.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
• Ensure timely completion of reports and logs and maintain operational records.
