Job summary

Hyatt Regency Morristown at Headquarters Plaza in Morristown, NJ seeks an Overnight Supervisor to lead Rooms Division operations across Front Office and Housekeeping. You will serve as a trusted partner to other hotel departments, ensuring timely, professional service and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Front Desk, Guest Service, or similar hospitality roles.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing Front Office and Housekeeping operations preferred.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Rooms Division point of contact during evening and overnight shifts, providing leadership across Front Office and Housekeeping.
• Supervise, train, coach, and support Front Office and Housekeeping colleagues; manage shift coverage.
• Oversee PM Housekeeping operations, guest requests, room readiness, public area coverage, and evening tasks.
• Monitor Housekeeping workflow and adjust priorities based on occupancy, VIP arrivals, late arrivals, guest requests, and needs.
• Follow up on unfinished work and verify completion of end-of-shift responsibilities for staff.
• Welcome and assist guests at check-in/check-out, provide hotel and local information, and ensure a warm experience.
• Manage guest complaints, compliments, billing requests with professionalism and follow-through.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Security and other departments to log, address, and follow up on issues.
• Assist with overnight audit responsibilities including reviewing Front Office work, guest accounts and daily activity.
• Act as Manager on Duty in absence of management and uphold Hyatt service standards.
